About the High Commission of Canada in Zambia
The Canadian High Commission in Lusaka is Canada’s resident diplomatic and consular presence in Zambia.
Canada opened a diplomatic mission in Zambia in 1972. The Canadian government later announced the upgrade of its presence in Lusaka to a full High Commission as part of an expansion of Canada’s diplomatic network in Africa.
The mission supports bilateral relations between Canada and Zambia and provides general and consular assistance to Canadians in the country.
