About the Polish Consulate General in Toronto

The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Toronto is one of Poland’s three career Consulates General in Canada, alongside Montreal and Vancouver.

Marek Ciesielczuk has served as Consul General in Toronto since January 20, 2025. He previously held the same post from 2008 to 2012 and has held senior consular and diplomatic positions in Poland and abroad.

The Toronto mission provides formal consular services for Polish citizens and eligible foreign applicants throughout its assigned district.

The Consulate General also works with Poland’s honorary consular network and supports Polish citizens and communities across its region.

Appointment arrangements depend on the service required. Poland uses the official e-Consulate system for a number of consular procedures.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Client service hours are currently 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Wednesday

Client service hours are currently 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Appointments for visa, legal and citizenship matters are booked through Poland’s official e-Consulate system. Passport applicants also use the official appointment process.

Office hours: The Consulate’s administrative office is generally open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. These office hours are different from public client service hours.

Eastern Ontario exception

Ottawa and the counties assigned to the Polish Embassy’s Consular Section, including the Ottawa-Carleton area and several eastern Ontario counties extending toward Kingston, are handled by the Embassy in Ottawa rather than Toronto.
