Sri Lanka Entry Information for Canadian Travellers

Sri Lanka currently provides a free tourist Electronic Travel Authorization arrangement for Canadian nationals.

From May 25, 2026, Canada is included among the countries whose nationals are eligible for a tourist ETA free of charge for 30 days.

The current scheme applies to eligible holders of ordinary, diplomatic, official and service passports from the listed countries.
