About the Embassy of Canada to the Philippines
The Canadian Embassy in Manila is Canada’s resident diplomatic mission in the Philippines.
Canada and the Philippines have maintained diplomatic relations since 1949. The relationship includes strong people-to-people links as well as cooperation on security, maritime affairs, climate action, human rights, trade and economic resilience.
The mission is headed by David Hartman, Ambassador of Canada to the Philippines.

Services at the Canadian Embassy in Manila
The embassy provides passport, citizenship, notarial and other consular services for Canadian citizens.
Passport services
Canadian passport applications can be submitted in person with a confirmed appointment, sent by commercial courier or deposited in a sealed envelope in the designated drop-off area.
Citizenship services
Eligible paper applications for proof of Canadian citizenship can be mailed to the embassy or placed in the citizenship application drop box at RCBC Plaza.
Notarial services
The embassy provides selected notarial services, including certified copies, signature witnessing and eligible apostille services. Limited in-person service is available by appointment, and requests can also be submitted by courier.
Marriage abroad
The embassy can prepare a statement in lieu of a certificate of non-impediment to marriage abroad when required for marriage procedures in the Philippines.
Emergency assistance
Canadian citizens requiring urgent help can contact the embassy during business hours. Emergency consular assistance is available 24 hours a day through Canada’s Emergency Watch and Response Centre.

Visa, study, work and immigration enquiries are handled through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and its official application channels.

The embassy publishes separate appointment hours for general office business and consular services.
General embassy appointments
General appointments are currently available Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Consular appointments
Consular services are currently available by appointment Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Passport applicants: Clients without an appointment cannot meet with a consular representative. A complete application can still be submitted in a sealed envelope through the designated drop-off area.

Canadian passport services in Manila
The Embassy of Canada in Manila offers several ways to submit a complete Canadian passport application.
Apply in person
Book an appointment online before presenting your passport application documents to a consular officer.
Send by courier
Complete applications can be sent by commercial courier to the Consular Section at Level 8, Tower 2, RCBC Plaza, 6819 Ayala Avenue, Makati City 1200.
Use the drop-off area
Applicants without an appointment can place a complete application in a sealed envelope and deposit it in the embassy’s designated drop-off area.
Payment: All passport fees must be paid online. A printed copy of the payment receipt must be included with the application.
Urgent travel: Expedited passport processing is not available outside Canada. If you need to travel in less than 20 business days, contact the consular section before submitting your application and provide proof of travel and payment.
Passport delivery: New passports cannot be collected at the embassy or at the Consulate of Canada in Cebu. Completed passports are delivered to the applicant’s local mailing address by courier at no additional cost.
