About the Embassy of Canada to Côte d’Ivoire
The Canadian Embassy in Abidjan is Canada’s resident diplomatic mission in Côte d’Ivoire. Canada and Côte d’Ivoire established diplomatic relations in 1962.
Canada has maintained an embassy in Abidjan since 1970. The mission supports diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries and provides Government of Canada services to Canadian citizens.
The embassy also provides consular services to Canadians in Liberia, where Canada does not maintain a resident government office.
